Some Amsen items are individually made. Proper care will extend the life of your garment and allow it to develop its own character with wear.

General Care

• Wash only when necessary.
• Turn garment inside out before washing.
• Wash with similar colors.
• Use cold water and a mild detergent.
• Do not use bleach.
• Hang dry whenever possible.
• If using a dryer, tumble dry on low heat.
• Iron on low to medium heat if needed (avoid prints, embroidery, and labels).

Raw Denim

Raw denim has not been pre-washed and will naturally fade and develop unique wear patterns over time.

• Expect some color transfer during the first few wears.
• Wash as infrequently as possible to preserve fades.
• Wash separately in cold water when needed.
• Turn inside out before washing.
• Hang dry only.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight while drying.

Regular Denim

• Machine wash cold, inside out.
• Wash with similar colors.
• Tumble dry low or hang dry.
• Do not bleach.
• Warm iron if needed.

Flannel

• Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle.
• Wash with similar colors.
• Tumble dry low or hang dry.
• Remove promptly from the dryer to reduce wrinkles.
• Do not bleach.

Fleece

• Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle.
• Turn inside out before washing.
• Use mild detergent.
• Avoid fabric softeners, which can reduce softness over time.
• Tumble dry low or air dry.
• Do not iron directly on fleece.

Canvas

• Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle or spot clean when possible.
• Wash with similar colors.
• Hang dry to minimize shrinkage.
• Warm iron if needed.
